Whether you're a parent or not, this effects us all. With the information on this page, we will explain why and offer some ways you can get involved to make a change.
While this current administration persists with efforts to indoctrinate students with values and beliefs that reflect political policies, Ladies for Liberty will fight for New Jersey parents. There is an outright attack happening against NJ families as government wants to dictate how parents raise their children while simultaneously reprogramming (in schools - with regulations) the way our children think and behave. Who's children are they?
The Woke Left is carefully dismantling what they perceive to be 'unconscious bias' in children so as to have them think as they do. Again, this is all political and happening now!
Is sexuality an appropriate topic for 3, 4, 5 or 6 year old children? Should this be taught by, and in the manner the state and school system deems acceptable - taking the subject matter somewhat out of the hands of the parent? Whether straight or in the LGBTQ+ community, is sexuality a suitable topic for this age group? Let's not rob our kids of their childhood. Let's be real - they are still going to bed with Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny on their minds. Parents can determine when the right time is for them to discuss sexuality with their children. After all, who knows their children better than the parents themselves?
Hey New Jersey! Hey School System! GET BACK TO TEACHING OUR CHILDREN READING, WRITING AND ARITHMETIC PLEASE!!!
Governor Murphy has taken rights, choices and freedoms away from NJ parents / residents. It's time to tell him to, "Give it Back!"
It is time for all of us, WE THE PEOPLE to stand up and have our voices heard.

Critical Race Theory (CRT) isn’t new. It has been craftily injected into our societal thought behind closed doors for decades. It has held many labels from “Diversity Training” and “Black Studies,” to “Reconstructing Curriculum”, but the objective has always been the same–divide the American people, because you can’t enslave a people who are united. When Black Lives Matter first came on the scene it looked like we would finally be able to have genuine, thoughtful conversations about real issues and introduce real solutions. Unfortunately...
This bill provides that if a person under the age of 18 violates the law by purchasing or possessing alcoholic beverages or cannabis and receives a written warning from a law enforcement officer, the law enforcement officer would also be required to provide a written notice to the parent, guardian, or other person having legal custody of the minor. P.L.2021, c.25 established certain consequences for persons who purchase or possess alcoholic beverages or cannabis items when under the legal age to do so. These consequences include, for a second or third violation where the person is under age 18, a notification to the minor's parent, guardian, or other person having legal custody of the minor. However, P.L.2021, c.25 does not provide that a parent, guardian, or other person having custody would be notified about the minor's first violation. This bill would require such notice.
We understand that this topic can be very sensitive. LFL has members, family, friends, business partners, neighbors, local business owners, etc. that are in the LGBTQ+ community.
We love them and we respect them!
To make an informed decision regarding school teachings of sexuality & gender identity, it is important to know what both sides are saying and how both sides feel. Hatred of any kind is not tolerated here. A respectful exchange of ideas is.
In the state of New Jersey, minors are able to obtain abortion services without parental consent. As long as the minor has obtained the required information such as risks, benefits, and alternatives, the minor may give informed consent to these services without parental consent. All healthcare professionals are bound by law to adhere to HIPAA confidentiality rules unless the minor is suspected of being a victim of child abuse or neglect, is a harm to self or others, or listed by the insurance the minor may be attempting to use.
